ABSTRACT
For some survivors, one of the most confusing issues following an abusive relationship is the temptation to return to the abuser. Chapter 15 examines the reasons survivors may be tempted at times to return to their abusers. This chapter also helps remind survivors of why they left. For many survivors, making the right decision about returning to an abusive partner is a crucial step in regaining control over their lives.
