ABSTRACT

This chapter explores Akhuwat's procedural structure to fully understand the 'Akhuwat Model' in its practical form. Mark Anielski, an economist and adjunct professor at the University of Alberta, in his book An Economy of Well-being, writes: too often we know the cost of everything and the value of nothing. He further writes in his Genuine Wealth treatise: The world is limited by its current system of measurement; most of the real wealth of communities is being wasted, ignored or under-valued. According to Mark, measuring what matters to the wellbeing of an organisation or community should be at the core of wellbeing of wealth.
