ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the authors engage in a dual rhythm: 4C rhythm and CARE process, developed by Lessem and Schieffer, investigating how Akhuwat is 'CARE-ing 4 Pakistani SOCIETY' through the integral development lens. The chapter aims to depict Pakistan and its diverse communal culture with such affinity. It revisits the authors' Hikma GENE (soil-soul wisdom) by revisiting their roots, or connection to the soil and soul of the place/Maqam, along with Pakistan's creation to present-day challenges faced by the society, further investigating the correlation of the soil's connection to the soul reiterating through them. The chapter explores the philosophy of soil/soul connection and what constitutes particular archetypes coming out of that soil or Maqam. It also explores the effects of solidarity through the faith-cultivation of a spiritual-financial model – Akhuwat – immersed in one such philosophy stemming from an Islamic faith tradition.
