ABSTRACT

This part of this Report focuses on analyzing the economic burden of chronic diseases by looking at the direct medical costs they incur. The aim must be to encourage people to provide more services at the primary level of healthcare and to raise the quality of people providing those healthcare services. It is critical, therefore, that we make better use of the leading role of government and that we stimulate the desire on the part of government officials to carry out the work. Because of that, we must change our former practice of mainly collecting information via cross-sectional sample surveys. In addition, on May 31, 2014, it released a report on its first participation in the Global Youth Tobacco Survey. In targeting this problem, we should focus on children under the age of two, and on such vulnerable groups of children as 'those left behind' and those who are part of the floating population.
