ABSTRACT

David Jenkins has degrees in history from Oxford University and in law, and by evening study, from the London School of Economics. He is in his mid-seventies and for the last eighteen years he has worked full-time in his own management consultancy, TEK Associates. Before that he worked for twelve years for the Engineering Industry Training Board (EITB) as a Training Adviser. Before that he worked for the British Printing Corporation (BPC) for three years, where he was in charge of training and also involved in industrial relations, with the job title of Deputy Personnel Controller. Before that he was with BTR for twelve years. He had various responsibilities there, as a Training Manager, Production Manager and Marketing Manager for different periods. After leaving Oxford and before going to BTR he was employed for three years by Short Brothers in Belfast, initially as a Project Engineer and then as a Training Manager.
