ABSTRACT

The Krsko town centre has a very long urban tradition; the town's market rights were first recognised in 1351, and its status as a regional centre was recognised in 1477. The local Community Centre is a small hall where people meet and work together on local projects and events in cooperation with the nearby Multicultural Community Centre. The foci for the community are the local shop, playground and Local Community Centre. Scotland, though historically a poor country, has invented modern banking and became known for its shipbuilding and textiles. The Republic of Slovenia had a historical experience as a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire before First World War and joined to the Yugoslav Monarchy in 1918; it became one of the federated republics of Yugoslavia after Second World War. The Pakistani and Indians form their cultural patterns mainly on the basis of regional and local identity.
