ABSTRACT
Writing about the relationship between Susan Strange and realism is like trying to make two moving targets meet. This is because there are nearly as many forms of realism as there are realists. Moreover, Strange consistently shifted the direction of her scholarly and nonscholarly work. Hence, if this chapter claims that Strange can be well understood as a realist, this has to be a realism of sorts.
