An introduction to the research setting, participating agencies and key factors

This chapter starts the process of delivering the fruits of the research. It begins by introducing the participating agencies and the dramatis personae which comprised the ACPC. Each section is prefaced with the official roles and functions of each agency, with this information being taken from the ACPCs’ joint training manual, or as it was referred to throughout the research by the respondents, ‘the green book’.
