ABSTRACT

The final chapter draws the book to a conclusion commenting on the relevance of mental imagery methods to enhance creative processes. It notes that a practice such as the one presented in the book that is grounded in a disciplined use of the imagination has the potential to make an important and useful contribution across a wide range of disciplines and professions. The author comments on the way her ideas about the imagery practice have changed through writing the book. This is linked to her own use of the method as applied to the development of the book and how the initial representational image evolved into something radically different. The book ends with the hope that readers will take up this work, experiment with it and develop the method further.
