ABSTRACT
This chapter talks about Shirley who was a force to be reckoned with, from the age of twelve. She has a powerful presence and a charisma that has not changed throughout the years. She speaks her mind when others might censor their opinions to be politically correct! She has a vast conglomeration of friends spread across the globe and, therefore, is always surrounded by people wherever she goes. Roya speaks of Shirley as a loyal, loving friend who can always be depended on. Shirley has kept her friends from all walks of life. To this day, she is never without her 'entourage', wherever she goes. Shirley is the daughter of one of the most prominent and well-known industrialists in Iran. The unmarried daughters of the renowned people in Iran were sought after by many of the bachelors. Shirley did not pursue a career in her early years though she had a natural ability in maths and sciences.
