ABSTRACT

In this chapter the authors discuss their specific experiences with affirmative action, EO 10925 and equal employment opportunity and how these experiences contributed to their views. These stories cover five decades and ten presidential administrations. This section is a reflexive and discursive exploration of the authors’ biases and impartialities. It also contains a brief discussion of sexual harassment as an equal employment opportunity issue and the authors’ personal experiences with members of Congress and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
