ABSTRACT
Ronald Reagan and the Reagan Revolution specifically targeted affirmative action but some officials appointed by Reagan were of a different mind. This chapter discusses the first attempts of William Bradford Reynolds and Reagan’s Department of Justice to scuttle the executive order and how other Reagan officials thwarted those attempts.
