ABSTRACT

What then is ‘narrativism’? The concept is derived from the latin narrare, storytelling, and narratio, story. Developed by philosophers as Ricoeur on the continent and Arendt in the United States, it emphasizes the functioning of the story, the plot, in science, not only in its application, but in its structure as well. It became popular in the fields of literary criticism, history, ethics, psychology, so we should not be surprised to find it in the sphere of the law too.4
