ABSTRACT

Set in C.40 ha of eighteenth-century landscaped parkland at Bretton Hall, West Bretton, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, it is one of Europe's leading open-air sculpture displays. Two galleries and the Camellia House provide indoor space. There is a programme of major exhibitions throughout the year, and the adjacent c.39-ha Bretton Country Park has a semi-permanent display of bronzes by HenryMoore. There are also changing 199displays from the permanent collection, of sculpture by Bourdelle, Frink, Hepworth, Nash and others.
