ABSTRACT
This chapter explores a relatively new concept of knowledge corruption. It defines this as information or knowledge that is not correct in some way; whether by accident or by design. Examples from business and the military demonstrate the significance of knowledge corruption in bad decisions and sometimes disastrous consequences such as the space shuttle Challenger disaster. Different types of knowledge corruption are discussed as well as ways to mitigate corruption
