ABSTRACT
The value of training and socialization are demonstrated with examples from the military such as special forces as well as some world-class business organizations. The resulting performance in these organizations clearly show how never-ending training and socialization result in successful operations on the battlefield where lives are saved as well as continual innovation and customer satisfaction in the business world. The ability to communicate effectively because of shared values and experiences results in more effective knowledge transfer and continual innovation.
