SYMPTOMS Abnormal bleeding symptoms include epistaxis, bleeding from the gums and with dental surgery, ecchymoses, prolonged bleeding after minor cuts, menorrhagia, postpartum hemorrhage, delayed postpartum hemorrhage, and postoperative bleeding. Ask for a detailed personal history (menstruation, injuries, surgeries, etc.) and family history.
