ABSTRACT
This book has one primary purpose: to advance the understanding of leadership beyond the inherited myths and traditions of command and control. It advances a collaborative model of leadership, arguing that the real power in leadership is not the power of one over others, but the power of the collective; the power leaders build with others in a joint effort.
