ABSTRACT

This chapter presents the Customizable and Adaptable Methodology for Managing Projects (CAMMP) processes and corresponding deliverables and gates. The first process is the Authorize process, which leads to the stage authorization document (SAD). The SAD includes all of the information necessary to authorize a stage. Establishing the success criteria for the project can be within the project authorization document. For some projects, selecting a project manager could be an automatic selection and would not require any effort; in that case, there is no need for a dedicated process. As the sponsor authorizes the stage and appoints a project manager, it is essential to identify all of the relevant stakeholders for the given stage, especially in the first stage. The Plan Management process per the CAMMP Model will include seven steps/topics to produce a stage management plan. The Plan Details process is necessary to produce the stage detailed plan. The Control process consists of numerous steps and actions.
