ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on the description to show the use of CAMMP™ on projects that are from different domains, types, sizes, and complexity. A capital investment project is typically a project, which would include the construction of a facility, such as a factory, oil refinery, power plant, hospital, or similar projects. The output of the Preliminary Eingineering Stage is a set of design packages that form the technical specifications and applicable standards for the product. The project management plan (PMP) will establish the various performance metrics that the team should achieve. The cost and schedule basis would be taken from the final class 3 estimate. The Close Stage would be like that in any other project and include a reconciliation between actual and plan, lessons learned, and updating the organizational records and project historical data files for future use.
