ABSTRACT
Since independence in 1947, Pakistan development policies have gone through many changes. The infrastructure sector has however, remained at the top of the priority list. This chapter reviews the development policies in Pakistan in general and infrastructure in particular. It further discusses the development of infrastructure, particularly in the case of electric power and telecommunications sectors.
