ABSTRACT

Henri Savall's socioeconomic approach is to take sociotechnical systems theory and put it into a positive-dialectic by the sublimation to the sociotechnical into a higher-order socioeconomics relationship and process ontology. In simple terms, Savall thought is highly critical of the sociotechnical systems theory of the 1970s for ignoring the financial and economic environment. In sum, measurement before and after, each and every change intervention experiment, is fundamental to Savall's socioeconomic approach to management. Qualimetrics is just part of the pioneering work of Savall and his colleagues in Lyon, France, who have developed SEAM, in which interviewing plays a foundational role. The socioeconomic dialectic process is fundamental to the qualimetric interview. Quantum storytelling means fragments of living story that produce strange socioeconomic behavior or contagion in a complex system. Waves of storytelling get collapsed by choices about which of several waves arriving to attend to, to fore-care for the futures that are arriving in advance.
