ABSTRACT
This chapter briefly introduces the phenomena of casing deformation under hydraulic fracturing injection pressure. The concept and workflow for modeling casing deformation under hydraulic injection pressure is introduced. The upper bound of safe injection pressure window is then obtained by limiting the casing deformation to a specific threshold of injection pressure.
