ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book brings us back to the main message : Success is based not only on competencies but more on mindframes; less on what we do and more on how we think about what we do. Although there is no denying the significance of competencies, without the corresponding mindframes, they often remain hidden or come to light only in limited form. It takes this quote as the main theme for the conclusion : "I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times, I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life, and that is why I succeed." The book includes ten mindframes. It follows a different understanding of educational expertise.
