ABSTRACT

64By oxidative polycondensation of 4-aminophenol (AP), the polyconjugated oligomers, including aromatic links with hydroxyl and amine functional groups have been synthesized. These oligomers show solubility and meltability, thermal stability, semiconductivity, and paramagnetism, and noticeable activity during reactions characteristic for aromatic hydroxyl and amine groups. They have been used as the active additions to industrial polymers and for preparation of composition materials with high physical-mechanical, heat-physical, and electric properties.
