ABSTRACT

Aimed at the complexity of the GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) almanac algorithm, this paper presents a simple and fast almanac parameters user algorithm model. This algorithm is reconstructed based on the GPS almanac parameters user algorithm and it considers the effects of harmonic perturbation, orbital period and the change rate of satellite orbital period. Meanwhile, the related calculation formula is derived and the calculation steps are given in detail. Finally, the algorithm is proved to be simple, effective and highly accurate using the precise orbit data of IGS (International GNSS Service, IGS). The results show that the algorithm can fully meet the user’s requirement for position prediction precision.
