ABSTRACT

A full on-chip LDO regulator with a novel transient-response-enhanced circuit is presented in this paper. By adopting this new architecture, both load and line transient responses are apparently improved. Capacitive-coupling technology is used in the proposed circuit which has good stability and PSRR character. This new structure is finally implemented in HHNEC BCD-350 um technology. Simulation results show that 10.5 uA quiescent current is consumed and the maximum load current is 100 mA.
