ABSTRACT
Smart logistics is based on an emerging technology, Internet of Things (IOT), whose idea is consistent with the automated, networked, visual, real-time, tracking and intelligent control development tendency of modern logistics industry. It can greatly reduce the cost of various industries and promote the upgrading of industry. It is the development tendency of future logistics. The transformation and upgrading from traditional logistics industry to “smart logistics” is an inevitable trend of social development. This paper is focused on the basic concept of IOT and smart logistics to analyse the main problems existing in the development of current smart logistics. Meanwhile, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for such problem so as to better promote the development of smart logistics.
