ABSTRACT

With the development of wireless communication technology and the prevalence of Location-Based Service (LBS), wireless location technology has become a research hotspot. Among wireless positioning technologies, TDOA positioning technology, with its high precision and wide range of applications, has been getting considerable attention. However, the TDOA technique is also easily disturbed by noise and other interferences, and the accuracy and stability of the technology will be affected. Therefore, other positioning technologies are needed for a better result. This paper proposes a new TDOA/RSSI fusion location method based on the idea of the particle filter. Also, this paper proposes a real-time calculation of the accuracy of TDOA location technology to meet the requirements of the fusion method for real-time TDOA location and the accuracy range of the results.
