ABSTRACT

To solve the problem of frequency hopping signal detection and investigation, first the Short-Time Fourier Transform (STFT), Gabor transform, Wigner Distribution (WVD), Pseudo-Wigner Distribution (PWVD), Smoothed Pseudo-Wigner (SPWVD), Wavelet Transform (WT) and other common non-stationary random signal analysis methods are introduced. Then, the frequency hopping signal detection by these methods is simulated on computer, obtaining the map of each method. The advantages and disadvantages of every method when applied to the analysis of frequency hopping signal are obtained, providing the foundation for choosing the frequency hopping signal analysis method.
