ABSTRACT

With the rapid development of chip multiprocessors and the popularity of private cars in recent years, all kinds of solutions and products related to vehicle top-view systems have appeared. Because the systems widely use several microprocessors or heterogeneous structure CMP as core control units, there are some problems has widely exits on the systems, such as development difficulty and complex surrounding construction etc. This paper describes a vehicle top-view system that uses a monolithic four-channel TW6865 video decoder to replace the traditional single channel based on i.MX6Q. Compared with other solutions, this one has the advantage of simple design and development. Finally, we have applied lens distortion corrections, bird-view transformation and image fusion algorithms on the system. In the test, the system achieved the desired effect that a surrounding bird-view picture, which could be used to monitor the surrounding conditions, was displayed on the screen.
