ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to study the fault detection and repair technology of submarine cable. The cause of the fault is analysed and the type of fault is put forward. The fault detection methods and the repair technology for submarine cable are introduced in detail, and also some protective measures for after the submarine cable is repaired are put forward.
