ABSTRACT
In this chapter is discussed the necessity of a personal abuse profile which is the foundation for identifying individual treatment needs. The interview-based inventory is an assessment tool developed to assist in compiling a personal abuse profile for the survivor of CSA. A personal abuse profile identifies the severity of the CSA, the risk and protective factors of the survivor which can assist the therapist in designing a therapeutic intervention addressing the specific treatment needs of the survivor.
