ABSTRACT
Tembleque started to make cinema more real or more seriously with his short Dear Tom. He works as a filmmaker for the fashion company, Zara. In fact, he made a few short films as a student, but he never went to film school. He did study audiovisual communication at Complutense University of Madrid in Spain, but he really started teaching himself after he graduated. “I have been continuing my studies in photography, editing, color correction, and cinematography” by taking online courses, tutorials online, and then practicing, he explains. If his self-teaching using online resources is his post-bacc, Tembleque feels that “Working in Zara as a fashion filmmaker has been my master’s degree, giving me hundreds of hours of shooting,” he tells me.
