ABSTRACT
Numbers can quantify and document a truth people want to deny or ignore. Perhaps some students on your campus complain that police seem to target them. The police deny this. But a database of arrests and arraignments could show a disproportionate number of arrests for things like disturbing the peace and loitering for students of a certain racial classification.
