ABSTRACT

A big challenge for the new Turnaround Lead is to quickly lead the development of the new Program Plan (the Turnaround Plan) and start executing it immediately. Usually, all program participants, including the program team, program leadership, and potentially, vendors, subcontractors, enterprise executive management, and customer, will see the turnaround challenge as necessary but arduous. Th ese participants understand that there will be risks, process readjustments, and hard eff orts ahead to get the program back on track.
