ABSTRACT

We’ve established that simplicity is good for businesses generally, but is it also good for individual leaders? The answer appears to be a resounding “yes.” Several years ago, Steve Strelsin, an experienced CEO who also helped found the online law service Axiom, performed a research project studying CEOs in collaboration with Harvard Business School. Strelsin compiled a sample set of executives from various industries and asked them questions about the way they approached their leadership role. Then he mapped their answers against their records of achievement.
