ABSTRACT
Look around, and you might see technology invading our world rather than enhancing it. You’re at a restaurant, and a family at another table is using technology to keep the kids quiet. You drop your fourth grader off at school and can’t help but notice that some of the fifth and sixth graders, instead of playing or interacting, are standing alone or in small clumps looking intently at their phones with prematurely worried faces. Everyone seems to be avoiding each another.
