ABSTRACT

This chapter provides an overview of the aims and objectives of the present research. The six over-arching research questions derived from these objectives are presented. The philosophical approach and the paradigm that underpinned the approach adopted through this research are explained. The salient ethical issues are considered, and the 32 participants involved in this study are described. The various methods which were used to collect the qualitative and quantitative data are outlined.
