ABSTRACT

This chapter confirms the recommendations made ever since by industrial psychologists to consider person related aspects as early as the planning of technical systems starts. Industrial psychology speaks of a "human- centered way of technique-implementation", which leads to "complete working tasks". The analytic tool is another part of the practice-oriented version of the TAI (P-TAI) called Analysis of Function-Allocation: With this method alternatives of division of labour can be found out and evaluated. Combining technical, economic, organizational and anthropocentric planning approaches is a primary goal of the P-TAI-project. Especially this P-TAI should convince technical planners in the production sector and in production related sectors of the necessities for and benefits of a human-centred planning and implementation of new technology. The reference of the P-TAI-concept to problems of the human-resources-management is based on the sequence, namely goal-setting - orientation - decision among particular variants - and control of the execution.
