ABSTRACT
The continuous improvement process is to improve their manufacturing system and product and to create opportunities for further improvement. Handling time is the time in handling material from one person to another in a production line. Handling time is the time wasted during the manufacturing process due to unnecessary movement of material or product or due to inefficient use of the operator’s time. It reduces production and increases cost. Reducing packaging and shipping times is very important in the manufacturing of any products. Packing processes include the title, labels, bar code, log, warning, and customer address being fixed on a shipping box. Each product has its own packing and shipping processes. Some packaging materials are used inside the box to protect the product during transportation. The primary purpose of using a jig is to provide repeatability, accuracy, and interchangeability in the manufacturing of a specific product.
