ABSTRACT

Electricity-based industry and related technologies have become an integral part of our society and consequently electric and magnetic fields are widespread as electricity moves through wires and machines. The magnetic part of the direct current field is widely generated by a medical diagnostic tool called a magnetic resonance imager (MRI). The power grids of nations consist of electrical generation, transmission, and distribution facilities. The operator type’s information on a keyboard and the computer displays the information on the video display terminal. Certain techniques are used to generate and move an electron beam that illuminates the screen of a cathode ray tube (CRT). These displays are used in television receivers, computers, automated teller machines, video games, and other devices. The CRT is an evacuated glass tube, which has a source of electrons at one end and an internally coated screen with phosphor at the other end. Strong extremely low-frequency fields cause electromagnetic interference in cardiac pacemakers or other implanted electromedical devices.
