ABSTRACT
The objective of this chapter is to introduce to the readers some pertinent multiple access schemes proposed for spread spectrum radio communication systems. l\1any of these multiple access schemes are proposed for current and future mobile communication systems. Hence it is necessary for the radio communication engineer to have a good understanding on the fundamentals of the different multiple access techniques proposed.
