ABSTRACT
The electromagnetic spectrum demonstrates how different forms of electromagnetic radiation have different wavelengths and it is the wavelength that distinguishes one form of radiation from another. At long wavelengths we have radio waves and at the other extreme we have gamma rays of very short wavelength. Figure 4.1 shows the electromagnetic spectrum.
