ABSTRACT
Network systems are becoming increasingly complex due to their sizes, the heterogeneity of their underlying hardware, and the complex interactions among their elements. In recent years, many research efforts focused on virtual structures for ad hoc networks of wireless devices that have many important applications including disaster recovery, military operations, forest vigilance, and other uses. This type of network consists of a collection of nodes whose structure is dynamically formed “on the fly.”
