ABSTRACT
A network is all about interconnecting two or more devices together so that data/information can flow either way. When the devices are from the same manufacturer, it is rather easy to interconnect them because they follow the same set of rules, specifications, and guidelines. Problems begin to surface when devices from different manufacturers are interconnected. Apart from hardware problems, software compatibility must be present for proper and reliable communication to take place.
