ABSTRACT
On August 11, 2011, British Prime Minister David Cameron addressed an emergency parliamentary session called in response to the widespread U.K. riots of the preceding week. In his remarks, he stated that Everyone watching these horrific actions will be struck by how they were organised via social media and suggested that the U.K. government was exploring the possibility of limiting or banning access to social media during periods of public unrest [11].
