ABSTRACT
Today’s production and manufacturing companies are very much dependent on their local networks. One of the advantages of the local networks is the sharing of common facilities. Shared devices such as servers and le storage systems can be accessed by all employees and managers. They provide cost-effective solutions without the need for investing on additional hardware and software and also assist in processing control, production scheduling, and data collection as well as making managerial decisions.
