ABSTRACT
The automobile industry uses automation and process control extensively. Application of modern automation techniques yields advantages to many manufacturers in diverse businesses for capturing greater market share compared to their competitors. In this chapter, automobile manufacturing methods, plants, production, and economics will be explained in detail.
