ABSTRACT
A common way to provide a voltage is to use the voltage divider consisting of two resistors in series. The output voltage is Vo = R1R1+R2VCC . The voltage divider has the advantage of simplicity, but the output is sensitive to power supply variations and to changes in current drawn from the Vo terminal.
